Raft and Channel Leaders

As creator of a Raft, you are the designated Raft Leader, and this comes with various perks and responsibilities. You get to manage your administrative Raft team and select your Co-leader(s) and Curators. A Raft’s Leader, Co-leader(s), and Curator(s) are collectively known as Raft Admins.

Why Set Raft Administrator Levels?

Raft Admins can help moderate content throughout the Raft. Admins control and adjust Raft settings and have advanced content control features. Some access levels allow administrators to join members (invites, join requests) and release members who abuse the Raft rules.

Leader

A Leader has the ability to update the name, icon, teaser/tagline, description, rules, welcome message, and cover image; pin Posts; and promote, demote and release any member of the Raft if necessary.

Co-leader

A Co-leader has many of the same administrative permissions as a Raft Leader. This includes the ability to update the Raft’s look and feel, pin Posts, promote the Curator or Co-Leader, demote ranks, and release any member if necessary, except the Raft Leader.

Curator

A Curator has the options to manage content including creating chat Channels, and creating content when only allowed by admin.
