Viewing Alerts

Modified on Thu, 12 Jun at 4:30 PM

Alert Messages are important full-screen notifications that appear directly in your Raftr experience to remind you about critical tasks or deadlines—like submitting forms, booking interviews, or applying for financial aid. These alerts are scheduled by your institution to make sure you don’t miss essential steps.

Viewing Alert Messages as a Member

Members will see a full-screen modal on the trigger date at 8:00 AM (community time). The modal will display:

  • The alert’s title and message.
  • A call-to-action button (if a link is included).
  • A dismiss button (“Got it” or ).

After dismissal, the alert is archived to the Notification Feed for later access. Members cannot turn off or prevent Alert Messages from appearing.

Notification Feed

All Alert Messages also appear in the Notification Feed with:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Timestamp

Alerts are marked under the Essential category and are visually distinct for easy recognition.

Opening the notification will redirect you to the same full-screen modal to show the Alert Title, Description and go-to Link (if provided).
